Cause of corona virus crisis, where other state are in danger Uttar Pradesh government shows the economic revive decision in this pandemic.
As we know that because of covid19 there will be slow down in economy of India. However UP government now trying to make Uttar Pradesh strong in order to revive economy.
Uttar Pradesh government has suspended all the labour laws accept 4 lows for three years.
A total of 38 labour laws have been suspended and only four laws that will continue to be applicable will be Section 5 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, Workmen Compensation Act, 1932, Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976, and the Building and Other Construction Workers Act, 1996.
According to government this decision will help to investors to invest in UP and encourages new entrepreneur to start businesses in UP.
As we know that most of the companies has claimed that they want to invest out of the china, india is trying to attract those companies.
Uttar Pradesh government and Hariyana government trying to attract those companies.
Challenge is that according to ease of doing business Haryana rank at 3 and Uttar Pradesh rank at number 12. Wherever the companies will invest that will help to grow economy of India.
R.K tiwari from up state that we are trying to give jobs to people who left other state and come back to UP, we don't want that they go back to those places again.
"In order to boost existing businesses and attract new industrial activity to the state, certain relaxations will have to be given on a temporary basis. That is why an ordinance called the 'Uttar Pradesh Temporary Exemption from Certain Labour Laws Ordinance, 2020' has been introduced in this regard," it said, adding that provisions related to children and women in the labour laws would continue. Other labour laws will become defunct. They include laws related to settling industrial disputes, occupational safety, health and working conditions of workers, and those related to trade unions, contract workers, and migrant labourers. This will apply to both the existing businesses and the new factories being set up in the state.
Conclusion:- according to yogi Adityanath if we want to grow we have to change our economic policies.
Therefore they suspended all but 4 labour laws.
